Pumpkin Carvin

This week we carved pumpkins with Jesse, Camille, Eli, Sam, Dan, Kim, and Makenna.  The kids had a really short attention span when it came to the pumpkins, so the adults did all the carving, but they had fun.  Ty was more into it than I expected, although these pics are kinda misleading because we only let him stick his hand in there for like 5 seconds.
Not sure what he thinks of it
Decided he liked it and dug right in!
My masterpiece.  Ty helped. (Tommy, eat your heart out!)
One of Eli ready to dig in.  Camille, you should put up pictures too, I'm sure they're way better.

I'm Taking a Poll...

I know this is kinda far away... but I figure if we don't plan now, it won't happen. I was hoping to get everyone's plans for Halloween/Thanksgiving, to see if there was a time we could get together for at least one of those holidays, or hopefully both! If you could let me know that would be really great.
Thanks!!!

wanna be like bb

As of late, our two little kiddos have had a major case of the envies.
You see, our own little Sammerson can't help but want to be just like his cousin Baby Beckham.
I guess he is not much of a baby anymore... but with that mowhawk, Sam can't help but envy those locks.

And in Eli's case...

Well he wants to be like another baby we know.

He wants to be JUST like the coolest little brother in the world.
He took it so far as to steal clothes out of Sam's dresser.
And amazingly enough... THEY FIT!
Size six months.

Wow. Check out mr. skinny britches.

I had a dream

Shortly after moving into Clark Manor, I had this crazy idea. I knew how to go about carrying out this idea, but I lacked the tools.... until this past week.
Thanks to the BYU surplus sale, I finally acquired what I needed and set out to surprise G with what I hoped, was a good idea. It's always a bit risky when I take on a home improvement project without consulting G. Not because I fear she won't approve, but simply because I'm pretty useless by myself.
And while I didn't get the finished project completed in the time she was out shopping this morning, she was surprised when she saw the semi-completed project none-the-less.
I don't think I've ever been more proud of any project I've ever undertaken. So, without any further pomp and circumstance, enjoy what the Clark Clan tackled over Conference Saturday.

Our killer garage as it was early this morning.

I had naively thought I could crank out the entire project in 3 hrs. Here we are at the 3 hr. mark.

6 hrs. in

All finished! G. and the Bugg actually went to JoAnn's during the Priesthood Session to pick out the pink paint and had her all finished when I got home.

Dedicated to the two girls who make my life so fantastic every single day!
