41 days and counting

Normally the SF Clarks would wait until Oct. 1st actually arrived to start this fine tradition, but I simply couldn't wait this year. Blame it on the fact that I've been dreaming about decorating the new pad since January.
Here's an initial taste of what we were able to get done this past weekend.

Sure, it doesn't look like much from afar...
but the beauty's in the details.

I'm right proud of our headless scarecrow.
And here's the sweetest decoration we own. Sadly, an old neighbor of ours from Payson took the lid and painted it at his auto shop. Neither G. or I are crazy about the cross on the front and we might actually paint over that part of it. But the rest of the painting is sweet. Thanks again Papa Bear for making this beauty for us. It's my Halloween pride and joy!
I'm not sure if Mom and Papa saw this sweet Hello Kitty decal that is on the back window of Rogue. We get nods from other drivers all the time on it!
More and more decor will be going up weekly from here on, so stay tuned for more pics. as we continue the festive countdown to our favorite day of the year!

Hauntingly Yours,
The Clark Clan of SF

Handy Manny ain't got nuthin on the SF Clarks

After reading and re-reading Coby and Becky's latest post about all the projects they took on over the summer, it got me thinking about what home projects I had neglected since the infamous move-in date here in Spanish Fork last January.

Now granted, the following home remodeling project isn't on the same scale as say, building and hanging a porch swing, but it did take me to a very foreign place (Home Depot) and led me wandering for a good 15 minutes before finding what I was looking for.

So, without any further delay, I give you the following before and after shots of the now, new and improved Clark Manor.

Thanks, Breinholt clan for the inspiration I needed to finally get some real work done around the house.

I'll just ramble for a bit....

To my Dearest Siblings/parents:
It's time to call some of you out for not participating! W
e want pictures!!! You know who you are... but just in case I will remind you :) Cathy... Carin... Marc... Keia... C'mon! I know your lives are exciting, so share! Thanks for all of you that have posted! It has become an obsession of mine to check this blog every day, and I get SO excited when there is a new post!

Can't wait to see a lot of you at Mr. Ky's baptism! Becky.. Do you want us to bring anything?

Mom and Dad.. I just want you to know that I will never participa
te in throwing Guy Pribyl's dog poop into his poop pile. I will simply take his shovel, and throw the huge poop pile into the center of his yard where it belongs. And I think that is pretty generous of me! I am pretty sure he has trained his dogs to poop in our yard, because he knows we are a bunch of suckers and will clean it up for him. Maybe I'll put it on his door step, in a burning bag. That'll show him. Just thought I would let you know the new rules when you get back. He had to bring up the other days "incident" with me the other day.. and I wished I could die. He just wanted me to know "He wasn't trying to peep."

I found some Random pictures that I thought were cute... So i'll post em.

Jesse and Camille... So cute.

Little Gwen. So cute.

Little Kate. So cute.

And the Handsome, charming, talented, funny, whitty Jayson...

That's all for now...
Hope your all so happy!
Heidi

Trip to Freiberg Temple

These clouds are for Angie's science class....aren't they amazing?
Hundreds of hay bales drying in the sun...they seemed to go forever.
The farms in Germany were neat and orderly...beautiful!
Road construction took us off the highway and we saw some beautiful buildings.

Klausnitzer Pension was located right behind the Temple, very convenient.
This was our room at the Klaustnitzer Pension.
The small, but beautiful Freiberg Temple at night.
The Temple was so small we took a picture of Angel Moroni that you could actually see.

Elder & Sister Foster in front of Freiberg Temple.
Sister Foster and Klara and Daniel, two of our YA's at the Temple.

Whew!!!! We are not the last ones to post! Our trip to the Temple was great! We found that Germany was very clean and orderly, we loved it. When we went through a session at the Temple we thought of all of you....we love you and miss you,

Mom & Dad
